JOB DESCRIPTION
Role:
TREASURER
Responsible to:
THE COMMITTEE
Skills Required:
o Good accountancy
knowledge.
o Great organisation
skills.
o Administrative and
computer skills.
o Adept with
spreadsheets.
o Good communicator.
Primary Duties:
1. Maintain accurate and
up-to-date financial records for the Club.
2. Establish and
maintain Club bank/building society account and banking arrangements.
3. Produce and monitor
annual budget.
4. Report financial
position to the Committee.
5. Collect and deposit
all fees, subscriptions and funds.
6. Invoice for
outstanding fees.
7. Maximise interest
received on surplus funds.
8. Provide reports as
required eg fundraising, tournaments.
9. Work with designated
Committee/sub-committee members in the areas of grants, sponsorship,
donations and fundraising.
10. Prepare and issue
receipts for monies received.
11. Ensure that funds are
spent appropriately.
12. Explore funding
opportunities for the Club.
13. Pay any bills incurred.
14. Prepare end of year
financial report for AGM.
15. Ensure that the
appropriate insurance cover is in place for all assets, players, public
liability etc.
