Approach Dorchester to pick up the A35 use this to bypass Dorchester and travel towards the East (Honiton/Bridport)

At the monkey jump roundabout (edge of Poundbury) take the 3rd exit signposted Yeovil A37

At the next roundabout take the first exit(A37)

Approx. half a mile turn right (signposted   A352 Charminster/ CerneAbbas/ Sherborne)

Continue along this road through the village of Charminster. Approx. half a mile beyond Charminster turn right into Herrison Road (just before a big left bend).

Go up the hill across a small crossroad past some houses on the left you will see a double bend, soon after the second bend you should see the entrance and the sign for the club on the left. The track leads to the car park.

Follow signs to Dorchester after a small turning for Piddlehinton on the left you will see a right turn for Charlton Down. Turn into Herrison Road go down the hill until the road bends and forks. Turn left (still named Herrison Road). Go down the hill you will see a sign for a double bend. Before the first bend  there is a small entrance to the Cricket Club. The track leads to the car park.

NB. If you get to a crossroad you have gone too far!

From the North :using theA352 from Sherborne

Go through Cerne Abbas on to Forston. Soon after Forston take a left turn (on a bend) signposted Charlton Down. Go up the hill across a small crossroad past some houses on the left you will see a double bend, soon after the second bend you should see the entrance and the sign for the club on the left. The track leads to the car park.
